The Japanese vice-minister of reconstruction, Shunsuke Mutai, dared not getting his feet soaked by an ill-placed puddle found along his path in a town ravaged by Typhoon Lionrock. Fortunately, a more junior official along on the trip was enlisted to piggyback Mr. Mutai over the puddle. We are happy to report that Mr. Mutai’s feet were protected from soaked socks, which could have easily led to embarrassing wrinkly toes and feet.
